Automobiles in German City Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Law Enforcement Report

Authorities stated they were alerted by a resident who discovered a automobile in Hanau marked with red-colored substance

Roughly 50 automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement say they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a man noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish substance.

The substance had been drawn in the form of a swastika, they stated.

Law enforcement then found many other smeared vehicles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Police report early analysis suggest the substance was probably human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; authorities are not yet cognizant of any harm in relation with the incident," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were trying "to resolve the incident" and have requested to the public for details.

A senior political figure stated the vandalism made him speechless and required to be resolved rapidly.

"This act strikes at the center of Hanau and revives the trauma of the right-wing violent incident five years ago," he stated on online, referring to the killing of nine individuals by a assailant focusing on people of foreign heritage in five years prior.
